Parents often feel overwhelmed when trying to find the right services for children who have learning differences. The Park Cities Learning Disabilities Association will be hosting an expo next month to help make that process easier.

The 2012 Learning Difference Resource Expo is being hosted from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7 in Highland Park Presbyterian Church's Elliott Hall and will have a variety of organizations on hand that provide services for children with learning differences.

The Expo, which is being sponsored by Highland Park Dental, is free to attend and will help parents learn more about providers that specialize in services ranging from physical therapy to social skills.

The Expo benefits the participating organizations by giving them a chance to network and share their services with a broad audience, and it helps the PCLDA.

"The Expo helps PCLDA raise funds for those who receive our financial support and raise awareness of our organization in the community," said Amy Harrington, a co-chair for the event.
