2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the Tracy Wills Invitational Track Meet. The Lady Scots will be welcoming strong competitors from across Texas to Germany Park on Saturday, March 19th including Allen, Arlington Bowie, Canyon, Leander Rouse, North Garland, Odessa Permian, Waxahachie and Wylie high schools.
The meet raises money for the Tracy Will’s Scholarship, which was set up in memory of Wills, an exemplary and beloved track athlete who died during her sophomore year at HPHS.
The invitational will be held on Saturday, March 19th at Germany Park.
Events begin at 7:45 a.m. Running finals will commence at 1:00 p.m.
Girls from the community are invited to participate in a girls-only fun run that kicks off at 8:30 a.m.
Kindergarten – third grade compete in an 800-meter race. (Two laps around the track.)
Fourth – sixth grade compete in a 1600-meter race.
Girls wanting to participate should meet at the Germany Park finish line at 8:30 a.m.
