FEBRUARY 27

Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle
A 45-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone backed into his parked vehicle, causing a dent, scrapes and scratches, then drove away without leaving any information around 7:56 a.m. in Highland Park Shopping Village.

Animal Bite
A 27-year-old resident, who was taking her small dog on a walk, reported that a Great Dane that was on a leash got away from its owners and grabbed her dog “by the back with it’s mouth, began shaking the small dog and then ran away” and bit her hand in the process around 2:30 p.m. at Lakeside Park.

FEBRUARY 28

Animal Bite
A 45-year-old resident reported that he was bit in the leg by a pit-bull/beagle mix while jogging at 9:17 a.m. in the 3600 block of Armstrong Avenue.

FEBRUARY 29

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information
A 67-year-old resident reported that he was notified by JP Morgan officials that someone who knew his social security number and business account numbers called on Feb. 28 claiming to be him and asked about the balance of his business accounts.

MARCH 3

Vehicle Burglary
A 35-year-old resident reported that someone broke into his 2007 Toyota Tundra by smashing the driver’s side window and stole a 32-inch flat screen television and a checkbook between 7 p.m. March 2 and 6:15 a.m. March 3 in the 4500 block of Abbott Avenue.
