APRIL 18

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 48-year-old Highland Park resident and a 44-year-old Dallas resident reported that each of their vehicles were broken into and multiple items were taken, including a purse valued at $1,000 and a watch valued at $1,400, between 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the 6400 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

APRIL 20

ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY, INTERFERENCE WITH EMERGENCY CALL

A 57-year-old resident reported that the offender assaulted her by grabbing her wrist, then interfered with an emergency 911 call at 7:14 p.m. in the 3000 block of Rosedale Avenue.

APRIL 21

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 58-year-old resident and a 56-year-old resident in the 3600 block of McFarlin Boulevard reported that an unknown person tried to file a tax return using the victims’ social security numbers sometime between Jan. 1 and March 1.

APRIL 22

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

Two 46-year-old residents reported that the third-row seat was stolen from their 2014 Cadillac Escalade between 8:45 p.m. on April 20 and 3:30 p.m. on April 21 in the 3000 block of Amherst Street.

DUTY ON STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE

A 30-year-old Dallas resident reported that someone hit his 2015 Land Rover LR4 in a parking lot and left no information around 9:37 p.m. in the 4000 block of Wentwood Drive.

APRIL 23

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his 2009 Mercedes ML350 and took a variety of items including baseball and golf equipment between 4:30 p.m. on April 22 and 7:45 a.m. on April 23 in the 3200 block of Rosedale Avenue.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 44-year-old resident and a 46-year-old resident in the 3800 block of University Boulevard reported that an unknown suspect filed a fraudulent tax return using the victims’ social security numbers sometime between Dec. 31, 2014, and April 10, 2015.
