JULY 18
Criminal Mischief
A 55-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke the front and rear driver's side windows of her 2003 BMW 540i between 1 a.m. and 1:26 a.m. in the 3700 block of Marquette Street.
Criminal Trespass
A 51-year-old resident reported that someone broke the window on the rear door of her residence between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on July 17 in the 3000 block of Fondren Drive.
Burglary
A 56-year-old resident reported that someone threw a brick through the back, sliding glass door to her residence and rummaged through drawers in bedrooms and cabinets in a bathroom and stole about 30 necklaces, 40 rings and three watches valued at a total of $6,900 between 8:45 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of McFarlin Boulevard.
JULY 19
Criminal Trespass
A 33-year-old resident of Richardson, who works at Chevron in the 8400 block of Preston Road, reported that someone was soliciting and refusing to leave the property at 1:57 p.m.
Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 19-year-old resident of Dallas reported that a vehicle struck her 2009 Mazda Tribute, but the driver did not stop and leave information at the scene around 10 p.m. in the 3400 block of McFarlin Street.
JULY 20
Vehicle Burglary
A 53-year-old resident reported that an unknown person pried the rear window to her 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole the third-row seat between 11:45 p.m. on July 19 and 12:30 a.m. on July 20 in the 3700 block of Marquette Street.
Vehicle Burglary
A 72-year-old resident reported that an unknown person forced open a window to her 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole the third-row seat at 12:40 a.m. in the 3400 block of Marquette Street.
Vehicle Burglary
A 64-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her 2004 Lexus RX 330 and stole a cosmetics bag between 8 p.m. on July 19 and 7 a.m. on July 20 in the 3200 block of Wentwood Drive.
Unauthorized Use of Vehicle
A 63-year-old resident reported that her 2001 Honda Civic was stolen from behind her residence between 4 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Normandy Avenue, and debit and credit cards and $200 cash were inside.
Burglary
A 63-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered her detached garage through a rear window and "ransacked" the property at 6:16 p.m. in the 4300 block of Normandy Avenue.
Theft
A 17-year-old resident reported that an unknown person took his wallet from inside his home and used his check card to make unauthorized transactions between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Hyer Avenue.
JULY 21
Vehicle Burglary
A 53-year-old resident reported that GPS units were stolen out of three vehicles that were parked in front of his home between 10 p.m. on July 13 and 10 a.m. on July 17 in the 3800 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.
JULY 22
Criminal Mischief
A 44-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window to his 2007 Mercedes CLK550 between 8 a.m. on July 21 and 9:20 a.m. on July 22 in the 3100 block of Greenbrier Drive.
Vehicle Burglary
A 42-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke a window to his 2011 Nissan Frontier and stole a radio faceplate from the dashboard between 7 p.m. on July 21 and 7 a.m. on July 22 in the 2700 block of Westminster Avenue.
JULY 23
Fraud
A 48-year-old resident, who lives in the 7000 block of Turtle Creek Lane, reported that an unknown person used his personal information to order a computer.
Theft
A 42-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person entered Bicycle Plus and stole three bicycles totalling $22,300 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on July 19 in the 7000 block of Snider Plaza.
Fraud
A 35-year-old resident, who lives in the 3800 block of Amherst Street, reported that an unknown person attempted to cash a counterfeit check, using her information.
Burglary
A 17-year-old resident reported that ten necklaces, a ring, a gold bracelet, a gold eagle coin, a digital camera and film valued at a total of $7,700 were stolen out of her residence between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dyer Street.
Burglary
A 23-year-old resident reported that a $700 sapphire/diamond white gold ring, a $250 gold diamond ring and a $200 gold diamond ring were stolen from her residence between 8:55 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dyer Street.
Vehicle Burglary
A 36-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone broke into her 2003 Lexus ES 300 and stole $3,300 worth of property, including a $500 J.Crew purse, a $200 wallet, $450 cash and a $780 Apple iPad between 5 p.m. and 5:03 p.m. in the 2600 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft of Firearm
A 36-year-old resident reported that an unknown person forced open a "backhouse/garage side door" and stole $6,000 worth of guns between 8:30 p.m. on July 3 and noon on July 23 in the 3300 block of Purdue Street.
