A 5K race is being hosted by Friends of the Lost Boys, which is a nonprofit, volunteer effort between several Dallas churches to assist the Lost Boys of Sudan who live locally.

The 5K Jambo, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. on May 31 at Mustang Plaza on SMU's campus, will benefit Friends of the Lost Boys, DFW.

After the race, there will be a picnic with music and a raffle.

The early registration fee is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and below, and runner packets can be picked up from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Luke's Locker, which is located at 3046 Mockingbird Lane. On the day of the race, it will cost $30 to register.
