Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children CEO Robert Walker and Park Place Dealerships president Neil Grossman with Scottish Rite patient Emmlyn (4)

Park Place Dealerships has partnered with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children for the past 25 years.

“Park Place leadership and staff have supported Scottish Rite Hospital through numerous hospital events, patient activities, and community events,” said Robert L. Walker, president and CEO of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.  “Their monetary gifts over the past two decades total more than $185,000.  Their loyal sponsorships of our Tartan Golf tournament, signature Treasure Street event, and Knox-Corinthian Golf tournament are greatly appreciated. For the past nine years, Park Place Premier Collection has hosted our Accessible Luxury fashion event each spring in their beautiful Lemmon Avenue showrooms. In addition, their in-kind contributions have been priceless and allowed us to make many new friends.“

Founded in 1921 by Dr. W.B. Carrell and a group of local Masons, Scottish Rite Hospital has treated more than a quarter of a million children
over the past 95 years. Located in Dallas, the hospital currently has more than 22,000 active patients. Last year, they had more than 36,000 outpatient visits  and performed more than 2,500 surgeries.  Patients receive treatment regardless of their family's ability to pay.

Scottish Rite Hospital physicians literally wrote the book on the treatment of orthopedic conditions affecting children. Now in its fifth edition, the Tachdjian's Pediatric Orthopaedics: From the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 5th Edition is the standard reference guide for orthopedic surgeons around the world.

“Scottish Rite Hospital is a national treasure,” said Neil Grossman, president of Park Place Dealerships. “We are proud to be associated with an organization that gives back so much to our community. Their care for children is unrivaled. We look forward to many more years of working together to serve these children and their families.”

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.
