Founded in 1921 by Dr. W.B. Carrell and a group of local Masons, Scottish Rite Hospital has treated more than a quarter of a million childrenover the past 95 years. Located in Dallas, the hospital currently has more than 22,000 active patients. Last year, they had more than 36,000 outpatient visits  and performed more than 2,500 surgeries.  Patients receive treatment regardless of their family's ability to pay.
