MAY 1

Theft
A 35-year-old resident reported that the two right wheels and tires were stolen off his 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe between 8:40 p.m. on April 30 and 5:50 a.m. on May 1 in the 3500 block of Villanova Drive.

MAY 2

Fraud
A 68-year-old resident, who lives in the 4000 block of Greenbrier Drive, reported that someone used his social security number without permission to file a federal tax return.

Vehicle Burglary
A 50-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window to her 2011 BMW 535 and stole her purse, which contained $1,000 in cash, an iPhone and credit and debit cards, between 12:20 p.m. and 12:40 p.m. on April 30 in the 3900 block of Colgate Avenue.

MAY 3

Vehicle Burglary
A 47-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window to his 2003 Porsche Carrera 4S and stole a radar detector and laptop between 1:40 a.m. and 1:50 a.m. in the 3700 block of Purdue Street.

Theft
A 35-year-old resident reported that someone made a "non-forced entry" into his 2007 GMC Yukon and stole the third-row seats between 6 p.m. on May 2 and 7 a.m. on May 3 in the 3700 block of Granada Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary
A 61-year-old resident of Coppell reported that someone broke a window to his Honda Accord and stole a GPS device between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the 4300 block of Lovers Lane.

MAY 4

Theft of Firearm
A 50-year-old resident reported that someone stole a handgun from his residence between April 30 and May 3 in the 3900 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

Vehicle Burglary
A 73-year-old resident reported that someone broke into his 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser and stole a GPS device between March 17 and March 18 in the 3300 block of Stanford Avenue.

Theft of Service
A 50-year-old resident of Dallas was arrested after failing to pay a cab $46 after being taken to Park Cities Motors at 2:42 p.m. in the 6400 block of N. Central Expressway.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 51-year-old resident reported that a vehicle struck a 2000 Toyota Avalon and then fled the scene around 10:20 p.m. in the 3800 block of Centenary Drive.

MAY 5

Theft
A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown person sawed off the catalytic converter from his 1998 Toyota 4Runner between 11:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. in the 7000 block of Snider Plaza.
