The University Park Preschool Association’s (UPPA) first annual “UP All Night” has officially sold out a notable two months before the event. The highly anticipated urban campout is for residents zoned to — or attending — University Park Elementary School. Designed to raise funds for the school, registration opened to the UPPA the first week of February; and the remaining spots sold out within UP Elementary in less than three days.

“We are ecstatic with the overwhelming interest in our new fundraising event for UP and its families”, said Meegan Cramer, UPPA President. “We’re looking forward to building on the success of the event year after year. The time, talent and energy that our Event Chairs, Amy Pollard, Elisabeth McHugh, Laura Saunders and Marcy Simmons have put in to this event is unparalleled. It’s evident that each mom’s heart and soul is being poured into ensuring every child has an amazing experience.”

UP All Night will take place April 12 – 13 at University Park Elementary, where attendees will pitch their tents and prepare for an evening of fun. The event promises to offer something for everyone, with an array of activities at Curtis Park to entertain campers of all ages, including fishing, crafts, a giant obstacle course, rock climbing wall, hamster balls, bounce houses, a dance party with a DJ and a Camp Circle Sing-a-long.

Many local businesses and families have generously donated to UP All Night including our lead sponsor Waterside Sandlin, our friends at Medical City Dallas Children’s Hospital and Love Field Jeep and Chrysler and Dodge. In addition, Mountain Hideout, Southern Botanical, Park Cities Music, Mr. Donavan, Dental Center of Lakewood, Community Trust Bank and Paige & Curt Elliot and Wells Fargo are also supporting UP All Night. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information about UP All Night or to make a donation to UPPA, please visit http://uppa.org.
