In the last six months, I’ve written glowing reviews of two barbecue joints whose pitmasters trained at Goldee’s Barbecue in Fort Worth. Chuck Charnichart of Barbs-B-Q in Lockhart and Amir Jalali of Redbird BBQ in Port Neches both worked the pits at the number one barbecue joint in Texas.
