The SMU Mustang's football team won its homecoming game against Tulane by a score of 45-24 on Saturday at Ford Stadium.

During the game, the Mustangs amassed 453 total yards on offense, having 322 passing yards and 131 rushing yards.

SMU's quarterback JJ McDermott completed 29 of 40 passes for three touchdowns and no interceptions. Also, Mustangs running back Zach Line rushed 25 times for 143 yards.

SMU (6-3) will be playing its next game against Navy at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Ford Stadium, and the game will be televised on FSN.
