All of the Highland Park High School girls cross country teams were victorious at the Coppell Round-Up meet last Friday at McInnish Park in Carrollton.

The Lady Scots won the Class 5A, 4A and 4A-JV races at the meet. Even though Highland Park is only a 4A school, the girls are able to compete against bigger programs, so they have been racing in 5A heats at many of the meets they attend.

The girls cross country team's next meet is the Rick Neill Invitational on Oct. 15 at Lake Park in Lewisville, Texas.
