The 2012 Park Cities Quail Dinner and Silent Auction, which occurred on March 8 at Dallas' Frontiers of Flight Museum, raised a record $675,972 for research and education to help restore the wild quail population in Texas, and the money will be presented to three organizations at a public event in Inwood Village.

Park Cities Quail is having a Check Presentation Party, which is open to the public, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Collectors Covey.

The Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch Foundation will be presented with $625,172, Texas Bobwhite Brigade will receive $15,800 and the Quail Coalition will be given $35,000 of the money that was raised during the Dinner and Silent Auction event. Representatives from all of the groups receiving donations will be in attendance, as will T. Boone Pickens.

Park Cities Quail is a nonprofit organization that is run completely by Dallas-area volunteers and has a goal of making sure their sporting tradition is available to future generations. Visit www.ParkCitiesQuail.org to find out more information.
