The SRS Real Estate Partners and Cypress Equities team in Dallas/Ft. Worth found multiple ways to give back to the Dallas community this holiday season.

On November 30, more than 20 team members volunteered their time at the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), sorting, boxing and bagging food for distribution. The NTFB in Dallas provides food for hungry children, seniors, and families year round and is especially busy during the holidays. Just last year, the NTFB provided 63.4 million meals to needy individuals in the North Texas area.

“Our team truly appreciated the opportunity to roll our sleeves up for a great local cause,” said Mark Reeder, executive vice president and market leader in the Dallas/Ft. Worth office. “We plan to make it an annual tradition.”

The Dallas/Ft. Worth office also took part in the Salvation Army Corporate Angel Tree program for the twelfth consecutive year. The Angel Tree program provides Christmas assistance to families in need in the Dallas area, bringing joy to children and families during the holiday season.

The SRS & Cypress team adopted 50 angels, aged six months to teenaged, fulfilling the angels’ gift and clothing wish lists. Once all the angel donations were received, team members took the gifts to the Salvation Army Christmas Distribution Center on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas. While at the center, SRS employees assisted in sorting gifts and stocking shelves.
