DALLAS, TX – July 9, 2024 – Pickleball Kingdom - North Texas is thrilled to announce the opening of two new locations, including the Dallas Galleria (Q4 2024) and North Fort Worth (Q1 2025). These new facilities mark significant milestones in the expansion of Pickleball Kingdom, further solidifying its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and offering a unique indoor pickleball experience to the surrounding communities.

The North Fort Worth location, half a mile east of Keller ISD's Central High School, will take the new title of North Texas’s largest dedicated indoor pickleball court, with two additional indoor courts than the Plano facility.

Each location's amenities will include year-round play on indoor courts with outdoor surfaces, hourly play rates, monthly membership options (including Founding Member special offers), a pro shop, locker rooms, lounge and meeting spaces, “The Kitchen” grab-and-go snack bar, private lessons, free Pickleball 101 classes, leagues and tournaments, and events.

Texas Women’s Foundation (TXWF) has announced that Carrie Freeman Parsons, Chair of the Board, Freeman Company, will return for a second year as Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Directors beginning July 1, 2024. Goldman Sachs executive Cris Zertuche Wong has been named Chair-Elect of the Board, slated to succeed Parsons as Board Chair on July 1, 2025. Wong will serve a two-year term as Board Chair through June 30, 2027.

In addition, the Foundation has added new board members: Renda Mathew, Senior Vice President, Dallas Market President, Truist; and Holly Tucker, Partner, Deloitte.

Sheraton Dallas is hosting a “Chakras, Charms and Charcuterie” event on Saturday, July 13 from 10am to 1pm on their rooftop garden terrace, Herb ‘N Jungle.
