About
The Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD) is a coeducational academic community founded in 1974 by the Reverend Stephen B. Swann and a group of Episcopalian local leaders. What began with eight students has grown to become one of the premier independent schools in Texas, enrolling 1,192 students in Pre-Elementary through 12th grade. The Episcopal School of Dallas prepares young men and women for lives of intellectual discovery, integrity, and purpose. The School develops the unique talent and potential in each student and embraces sound learning, discipline, and faith as essential elements of an educated conscience.
