Gov. Rick Perry joined Dallas city officials to discuss the Ebola case and ease panic during a press conference held at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. Five school-aged children may have been in contact with the patient, but they are all at home and being monitored. 

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings insists there is no need to panic, as the city is being proactive in monitoring the situation.

Update: The Ebola patient told hospital personnel he was visiting from Liberia. The five students who were in contact with the patient attend the following DISD schools:

Conrad High School (7502 Fair Oaks Ave.)

Tasby Middle School (7001 Fair Oaks Ave.)

Hotchkiss Elementary School (6929 Town North Dr.)

Dan D. Rogers Elementary (5314 Abrams Rd.)
