DALLAS – Texas Health Resources Foundation hosted 375 generous donors and community leaders on April 11 at the Omni Dallas Hotel for “La Bella Toscana,” the Tuscan-themed 2015 Greer Garson Gala.

Through ticket sales, table sponsorships, a silent and live auction and an exciting wine pull, the 2015 Greer Garson Gala raised $140,000 for the Margot Perot Center for Women & Infants at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

Attendees of the VIP reception and cocktail hour enjoyed mingling with The Honorable Mayor Michael S. Rawlings and Mrs. Micki Rawlings, who served as honorary chairs of the gala. Goga Denisov, who can sing in 12 different languages, joined the VIP reception and cocktail hour to entertain guests with operatic Italian ballads.

The gala’s program featured a testimonial video of two patients of the Margot Perot Center. Both women, who have battled breast cancer, shared their emotional and painful journeys to convey the value of the care they received at Texas Health Dallas. The video is available to view here or on the Texas Health Resources Foundation Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/TexasHealthFoundation.

“William and I are so grateful to the Dallas community for their outpouring of support,” said Mary Ellen Kendall, co-chair of the 2015 Greer Garson Gala. “With their generosity, the Margot Perot Center at Texas Health Dallas will continue to offer exceptional care for women during every stage of life’s journey.”

When the program concluded, Goga Denisov returned to the stage with a full band and played for the crowd for nearly two hours. A photo booth complete with props was also a popular attraction at the gala.
