Christen Swearengin – Salon Lucien

Dang it takes a lot of maintenance to keep me looking decent.  Hair, skin, nails, teeth, etcetera, etcetera.  If you ask any girl who in her bevy of people is her best friend, she will tell you it is her hair stylist.  For me, that is two people – Christen Swearengin and Gaby Chico.

I always swore that I would never be one of those high maintenance people who needed more than one hair stylist.  But guess what?  I am one of those people.  I have come to the conclusion that you need to see and stick with good people when you find them.

Gaby Chico

Gaby Chico/Colorist – I found Gaby several years ago at a salon.  When she left the salon, I followed her.  I have never done that before.  But guess what?  Gaby has that unique ability to always get my hair color exactly right.  The perfect, highlighted blonde with lowlights. Every time!  And she is very flexible about my chaotic schedule.  I appreciate her ability to get me in without me giving her a lot of advance notice.  You can find her in Salon Boutique – Preston Center.  (214) 476-9838

Christen Swearengin/Stylist – Christen is one of those happy girls that makes your life easy.  She cuts and styles my hair.  And that’s not easy because I have a wicked cowlick.  She gets my “I want big event hair” requests.  She humors me when I request drastic changes like “I want bangs” and knows that I will grow them out the minute I leave the salon.  My hair grows like weeds and she keeps it perfectly trimmed and coiffed.  And she does make-up too.   You can find her at Salon Lucien in Preston Center. Please note this very important fact about me.  I don’t book my next hair appointment when I leave the salon(s). I can’t predict what my hair will need in 4-6 weeks.  I book as needed and both stylists work well with my schedule.
