People always ask me where I get my positive attitude from. My “go-getter” spirit. I really don’t know. I just always knew that I could do anything. Failure is not in my vocabulary. I’m not a quitter. I make up my mind that I want to do something and I just go for it.
I do find inspiration in everything around me. Positive statements are all around us. I find them and share them a lot on Facebook (which feeds to my Twitter) , Pinterest and Instagram. I’ll try to share some here too. Currently, I am reading The Business of Belief by Tom Asacker. You might want to pick up a copy – very positive.
One of the things that I do it to surround myself and my work environment (which is my home) with all the things I like. Fresh flowers and LAFCO candles are a must. My favorite scent is Bathroom. I have no idea why they named it that but it really does smell fresh and light. Here is a trick to finding out a favorite candle scent. If you frequent a location it smells pleasant due to candles burning, be sure to ask them the scent and brand of candle they use. Salon Lucien happens to burn this candle and that’s how I discovered it. I also like the Tory Burch candles. Just walk in to one of their boutiques and you will see why.
As far as flowers go, I really don’t care where they come from. Sometimes, it’s the grocery store. Tom Thumb in Highland Park Village has the best selection. Lilies and peonies are always a hit. But I do love a good delivery from The Garden Gate or Avant Garden. Both are excellent florists in Dallas and never disappoint.
Get yourself some inspiration and get going.
xoxo- Tanya
