Some one needs to call the police and take away the peppermint bark, cookies, fudge and homemade toffee.  The holidays need to come to an end SOON!

Today I met my college roommate, lifelong friend and Godmother of my children for lunch.  This is our annual tradition.  Let the hectic Christmas plans come and go and then we will meet for a long lunch and exchange gifts.  I look forward to this every year.  Our friendship picks up where it left off.  Perfect!

We went to True Food Kitchen.  It’s the newest, latest and greatest restaurant in Dallas offering all those trendy buzz word foods.  Organic, locally raised, biodynamically farmed, gluten-free, sustainably farmed, certified organically farmed… blah, blah, blah.  You know, very California.

The Dallas location is smack dab in the middle of the Plaza at Preston Center.  You know what?  It’s REALLY good! We had the harvest chopped salad with chicken and street tacos with Texas red fish. DELISH!  Check out the menu for all of their options.

In my mind, I am losing weight already.  Be gone holidays!
