TGIF! Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? I know some of you have already started the school year. Is it just me or does it seem earlier than normal? Today I wanted to share a few late summer trends in case you need a little late-summer closet refresh. We are in that odd season where we're going back to school, but it's still 100 degrees outside. The key is to invest in pieces that you can wear into early fall. Because, as you know, it's hot in Dallas until November! These are also great pieces for any upcoming trips or Labor Day Weekend plans.
When it's hot outside, I love to just throw on a cute dress! For something easy to dress up or down, this poplin shirtdress is a gorgeous option. I love the unique pleated hemline and classic style. Another dress I am loving is this lace frill midi dress. It is such a chic style that you can dress up or down. Pair it with these raffia slide sandals and this acryllic clutch for the perfect elevated weekend look. You may even want to throw on this western hat, a denim jacket, and boots for a mountain chic stye. I have many more gorgeous summer to fall transitional dresses linked below.
Another late summer piece that you need are these brown and white gingham shorts. You can style them with any neutral or solid colored top, like this cashmere shell or this textured satin vest. Both are so pretty and make for an easy everyday look. You may even want to style it with this pointelle boatneck sweater for an easy late summer look. For a cute and casual weekend outfit, pair your look with these woven ballet flats, statement earrings, and sunglasses.

Have a great weekend! xoxo – Tanya
