A Texas success story, Morgan received a scholarship to SMU, graduated Cum Laude, attended Washington and Lee School of Law and clerked for Republican Judge John Marshall. Morgan is an equity partner at Bracewell & Giuliani with 14 years of experience protecting business interests. He’s been named a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers eight times. As our State Representative, Morgan Meyer will bring extensive expertise about the laws and regulations that impact business, jobs and the economy to the Texas House.

History of conservative leadership. Since 1992, when he first volunteered at the Republican National Convention, Morgan Meyer has led for conservative values. He grew his interest in politics by interning for U.S. Congressman Larry Combest from Lubbock. Morgan was a precinct chair when he lived in the M Streets, attended the State Republican Convention as a delegate and is a member and past officer of the Greater Dallas Pachyderm Club. As our State Representative, Morgan will continue his history of conservative leadership by advocating for solutions that protect taxpayers and make life better for all Texas families.
Involved in the community. Through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Morgan has volunteered at the South Dallas Legal Clinic, the Housing Legal Clinic, and the VA Hospital Legal Clinic, providing legal services to people who would otherwise not be able to afford them. Morgan is also involved in the Lawyers Serving Warriors Program through which he provides free representation to injured veterans to help them secure benefits based upon combat related injuries.
One of us. Like you, Morgan believes that Texas is a great place to live, work and raise a family, and there is no substitute for hard work. He believes that we still have a lot of work to do to make Texas even safer, stronger and more stable. Morgan is committed to raising his family in District 108 and over the past 20 years has lived throughout the District, including Uptown, the M Streets and the Park Cities. As our State Representative, Morgan Meyer will always put the best interests of our families first because he knows how critical each decision we make can be to the Texans of tomorrow.
