Art therapy involves both art and therapy, as the name implies.
Art making happens using a variety of materials as directed by either the client or the therapist. The art provides a space to engage in emotions, challenges, life transitions, and questions. The art, then, becomes both about the process of creating and the product that is created.
Therapy comes in the processing and engaging of the art created.
