Starting June 1, register and participate online, at hptx.beanstack.org, for the 2026 Children's Summer Reading Club.
- Programs are available for ages 0-5 and 6-12. Teen Summer Reading registration is open to ages 10 and up, if preferred.
- Earn points, badges, and certificates by logging minutes read, activities completed, and events attended.
- You may also pick up a print Summer Reading Log at the Library to keep track of your summer reading activities.
- Earn 150 points to receive a prize. Once 150 points are obtained, Library staff will choose a book to donate in your name to Catch Up and Read, a nonprofit agency that teaches and empowers children to reach literacy milestones.
- Earn 300 points to receive an additional prize and to be entered into a drawing for 1 Core 5 Membership to the Perot Museum. The Core 5 Membership includes:

- One year of free general admission for 5 people ages 2+ to the Perot's 11 permanent exhibit halls
- Access to members-only hours every Sunday, 10-11am
- $5 Museum parking*
- 10% off purchases at the Café and Museum Shop

*ASTC reciprocity exists only with museums outside the 90-mile radius of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and your home address.
*Discounted $5 member parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
