SUMMARY:Children's Summer Reading
DESCRIPTION:Starting June 1\, register and participate online\, at hptx.bea
 nstack.org \, for the 2026 Children's Summer Reading Club. Programs are av
 ailable for ages 0-5 and 6-12. Teen Summer Reading registration is open to
  ages 10 and up\, if preferred.  Earn points\, badges\, and certificates b
 y logging minutes read\, activities completed\, and events attended. You m
 ay also pick up a print Summer Reading Log at the Library to keep track of
  your summer reading activities. Earn 150 points to receive a prize. Once
  150 points are obtained\, Library staff will choose a book to donate in y
 our name to Catch Up and Read \, a nonprofit agency that teaches and empow
 ers children to reach literacy milestones.  Earn 300 points to receive an
  additional prize and to be entered into a drawing for 1 Core 5 Membership
  to the Perot Museum . The Core 5 Membership includes: One year of free ge
 neral admission for 5 people ages 2+ to the Perot's 11 permanent exhibit h
 alls Access to members-only hours every Sunday\, 10-11am $5 Museum parking
  * 10% off purchases at the Café and Museum Shop Reciprocal admission to h
 undreds of science institutions in the ASTC Passport Program* \n *ASTC rec
 iprocity exists only with museums outside the 90-mile radius of the Perot
  Museum of Nature and Science and your home address. \n * Discounted $5 me
 mber parking is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \n  \nThan

  Summer Reading Club\, and for funding the Sharing Literacy book donation
