Understanding the Mind-Body Connection

Saturday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m.

Ages 18 and Up

This talk will cover topics related to meditation, mindfulness, stress, trauma recovery, and holistic wellness.

The last two years have been a struggle for us all - a reminder that our ability to find calm amidst the chaos and to know how to ground ourselves when the world feels unstable is imperative to our peace of mind. We’ve all heard a lot about meditation, but how do you actually start a practice? How does my stress actually affect me and what can I do about it? Is the mind-body connection real and why does my understanding of it matter?

Come join complex trauma therapist, meditation and mindfulness teacher, and owner of the LISPY School, Ali Haji, for a talk on how to understand the difference between the brain and mind and how working with our mind-body connection is vital to healing ourselves.

Registration required.
