Math is hard, but strawberries are delicious. So let’s mix fruit with numbers. According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, just one acre of farmland can produce 50,000 pounds of strawberries. That’s enough to fill about 25,000 quart-sized containers. At some markets in Texas, each one of those containers could fetch $9. Math: Nine bucks multiplied by 25,000 equals $225,000.
