In August, Michael Flores stopped doing his irregularly scheduled pop-ups under the banner of Friends’ Barbecue to join his family’s business, Jiménez Tortilleria y Taqueria. You may have read about the Lubbock restaurant’s amazing tacos de guisado from our taco editor, José Ralat, last year.
