In 2017, shortly after getting a thousand-gallon smoker from BBQ Pits by Klose, Dee Dee and Troy Mulligan put the device to good use. Hurricane Harvey had hit the Gulf Coast, and the Mulligans fed hot barbecue and sides to four hundred people who were affected.
