Married 21 years to Dr. Blair Blackburn, Executive Vice President at Dallas Baptist University, the Blackburns have three children, one at Baylor and two at Trinity Christian Academy. Michelle is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dallas, member of the Dallas Symphony League, DBU Women's Auxiliary Board, Brother Bill's Helping Hand Women's Council, parent volunteer at TCA and has received the Ruth Award from DBU. The Blackburns are members of Park Cities Baptist Church.
