Meredith has been a company top producer the past 3 years and was named a Dallas Top Producer by Park Cities People in 2010. But then, she came by her talent naturally. Her mother and now partner, Brenda Ray, brings the wisdom of how to succeed during a difficult market. She was successful throughout the challenging market of the late 1980s – invaluable knowledge for today.
Meredith brings her own impressive skill set to the table, which includes an ease with people, tenacity, and an inborn acumen for negotiating and strategic thinking. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in advertising, she utilizes her exceptional marketing and communicating skills, honed professionally at two international agencies both in San Fransisco and Dallas prior to her joining Briggs Freeman.
This Dallas native is “plugged in” to the community through the civic organizations she serves as well as her professional networking groups. She often learns of properties before they are ever on the market and last Spring, three of five homes sold were these so called, "hip pocket" properties. Her networking skills also benefit her listings; knowing the buyers who are looking for their specific type of home. Two listings last year were sold, by word of mouth to Meredith's network.
When speed must be replaced with patience, however, she readily complies, once spending two years with a buyer and his wife before their perfect dream home was found. In fact, finding just the right home for her clients is her greatest joy in the business.
Meredith Ferrell specializes in the Park Cities (she graduated from Highland Park High School), Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Lakewood, Bluffview, Greenway Parks and Uptown/Oak Lawn neighborhoods.
Active in the community, she is past president of the board of the Young Fiends of Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, a member of the Armstrong Bradfield Preschool Association and is a member of the Cattle Baron's Ball committee. She and her husband, Corby Ferrell, currently reside with their daughter Madison in University Park and are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
