Linsey Barnes
Linsey Barnes is actually the medical profession’s loss and the real estate industry’s gain. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she graduated from SMU with a BS in biology, having originally planned to go on to medical school. The call of sales eventually intervened, however, and she proceeded to excel in several sales arenas, including a global company for eyewear where she increased the sales territory by double digits. It was real estate, however, which was her greatest fit.
A Realtor since 1997, she has excelled in selling and marketing homes in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow as well as luxury high-rise communities in Turtle Creek and Uptown, where she has lived for years.
Her genuine warmth and natural rapport with real estate clients has allowed her to quickly intuit their wants. And she goes the extra mile, literally, to see that those are met. In one case, she searched long for land on behalf of a client who wanted to build a large home. Only when she found the property did she show her client, and he purchased it – a 2.7 acre property in Preston Hollow.
Given an aesthetic eye and an appreciation for important architecture of all genres, she is further aided by her husband, Pogir. He is the lead designer for Cantoni, the modern furniture studio that has recently forayed into designing architecturally significant modern homes, beginning with The Cantoni House.
Ms. Barnes is a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP).
