Lindy Hill needed to find a way to supplement her family's income and investigated getting into the real estate brokerage business. She had two young children, a large commitment to various charity and social interests and very little time to start a career. The need for financial security, a burning sense of accomplishment, and genuine fondness for people were her only credentials - her real estate experience was limited to the buying and selling of her own home. Lindy went to school, got a license and took a position with a small successful local firm. Her first week in the real estate business she sold a home and that was the beginning of a enormously successful career which has consistently placed her as one of the leading producers in the Dallas residential real estate market and at the top of the agents at Briggs-Freeman in 2002, and 2005, and again in2006, 2007 and 2009 with no less than top five finishes in between. Each year she reached a new high plateau for Briggs Freeman and in 2007 accounted for over $70,000,000.00 in sales. Three of the last five years Lindy has listed/sold the single largest home sale in the Park cities area of Dallas.

Lindy was raised in Dallas by native Dallas parents who valued family, hard work and civic duty. Lindy's first interest was to make sure she was a good mother and carefully crafted her time between real estate and family. Focus was her tool. She committed one hundred percent to her family at family time and one hundred percent to real estate at business time and, somehow, got great results. Lindy's son, Stephen, graduated from Highland Park, Texas A&M and received a M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and is presently a successful investment consultant in San Francisco and is married with two children, a daughter and a son. Shelly, Lindy's daughter, graduated from Highland Park with honors and a state tennis championship, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in finance and became the top employee benefits sales consultant for a major life insurance company and is now living in Annapolis, Maryland as a full time mom with her husband and two daughters and one son.

In 1981, Lindy made the first change in her business career by joining Mahoney Realtors -a move which accelerated her productivity many times over and placed her as the top producer at Mahoney every year. She continues the tradition at Briggs-Freeman where she and her husband Dan and his agents moved in 1999. She has been named by D Magazine as one of the Best Agents in Dallas since 2003 and in 2006 Lindy was the recipient of Briggs – Freeman’s very top award , the Rose Rosner Award This award is given to the most admired company agent or staff member who epitomizes the very best in Briggs-Freeman long standing tradition of excellence – the best of the best. Needless to say, her record as a productive real estate agent is exemplary. She has set records at Briggs Freeman never reach by agents at the company or other agents in Dallas for individual production.
