After graduating from Northeast Louisiana University with a B.S. degree and working in the medical field several years, Katye returned to school and received a J.D. from the University of Houston School of Law. Her law practice primarily focused on transactional real estate and title insurance matters. In addition to these varied professional tracks, Katye also co-owned Translations, a popular home accessories and gift store in Dallas, for several years.

In 2004, Katye returned to real estate to market and sell one of Uptown Dallas’ most successful high-rise projects, the highly acclaimed AZURE. During her tenure at AZURE, she contributed to the strategic planning and execution of sales and marketing programs resulting in $90 million in contracts written during the pre-development to completion phase.

With this background in real estate, law, and retail, Katye brings a unique set of skills in negotiating transactions and marketing property. Katye is a long time civic volunteer for The Family Place and The Hockaday School, where her two daughters graduated. After being inspired by a former client, she has recently become a “Big” in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
