The HPHS softball squad finished 2nd in District 11-5A to earn a playoff slot for the first time in 3 years.

Last Friday, the Lady Scots rounded-out the regular season with a 12-4 victory over Woodrow Wilson.  With the win, the Scots finished 11-3 in district play and earned a spot in the UIL's post-season softball tournament. 

In the game against Wilson, Senior captain Katie Reenan continued to dominate on offense, ringing up 3 hits on 4 at bats and logging 5 RBIs.  Teammate Grace Brown had two hits and fellow Lady Scots Ava Sims, Ciara Fortenberry, Katie Arnold, Lilli Reenan and Shelby Pettit all found holes in the Wilson defense for hits. 

The Bi-District series against Seagoville High School starts on Thursday, April 25th.  The Lady Scots play at HOME ON FRIDAY, APRIL 27th.

Game 1 – Thursday, April 25 @ 7 pm at Texas Rangers Youth Academy (3500 Goldman Street, Dallas, 75212)

Game 2 – Friday, April 26 @ 7 pm at HIGHLAND PARK SOFTBALL FIELD

Game 3 (if needed) – Saturday, April 27 @ 11 am at Seagoville High School
