About
The Highland Park High School Alumni Association was established in 1990 with the purpose of assisting the Highland Park High School in pursuing the goals of academic excellence, protecting the school’s heritage and traditions and developing and maintaining relationships with the school and its alumni.
The Association took over the Distinguished Alumnus Awards which was established in 1989, began building scholarship funds to be awarded to graduating seniors, establishing mailing lists and helping with class reunions. In 1994 a Golden Scots luncheon was started – honoring alumni who had graduated 50 years or more. Today the luncheon has attendee from all over the US and has an attendance of over 600 alumni.

In 2003 the Alumni Assoc. merged with the Highland Park Education Foundation to form a single organization serving the needs of students, alumni, parents and friend of the school district. This merger allows both groups to maximize their talents and budgets.
