Register today for the third annual Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K. The scenic race route will guide you around the paved trails of Trinity Falls beautiful master-planned community. Traverse the 350-acre natural park with miles of winding, wooded river frontage where families explore and become one with nature. Trinity Falls chose June 7 to align with National Trails Day, a nationwide event held to encourage people to discover their local trails and celebrate spending time outdoors. The event is family friendly, and strollers are welcome.
CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Males and Females: First Place ($200), Second Place ($100) and Third Place ($50) AND the First Place Stroller Strider ($50). PLUS awards for the top male and female finisher in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over!
Attendees are encouraged to stay for the party at the finish line. There will be a variety of local outdoors, recreation and fitness vendors, a disc golf demonstration, music, photo-ops, and food trucks onsite to purchase food and drink. A ladybug release will start at 9:30 AM and will kick off with Ms. Bug reading the Grouchy Ladybug book. Little ones will have a chance to release the ladybugs and take pictures with Ms. Bug.
Registration is $30 and includes entry into the chip-timed racecourse, an event t-shirt, a Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K bib, and an awesome finishers medal! 100% of gross profits will go to local McKinney nonprofits. This year’s beneficiaries are Alliance of Elite Youth Leadership (AEYL), Warriors’ Keep, and YMCA of McKinney.
