About
Erika Anderson Orbin, a Dallas native, attended Ursuline Academy, and upon graduation, she enrolled in the Plan I Liberal Art Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin. She obtained a Bacehlor of Arts in Spanish and French with a Minor in Business with High Honors and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. Erika perfected her French and immersed herself in the culture while studying in Paris at The Sorbonne. Her understanding of languages and people coupled with her business savvy opened doors to her first career in the advertising industry.

During Erika’s tenure in advertising, she was employed by Moroch Partners, one of Dallas’ leading advertising agencies. She worked in account service on iconic brands such as DFW International Airport, the third busiest airport in the world, and Mrs Baird’s, an affiliate of Grupo Bimbo, one of the top baking companies in the world. Displaying her dedication and passion for the business, Erika rapidly advanced in her career path, working on campaigns for the Wright Amendment and Mrs Baird’s Centennial, to name a few. Past clients describe her as a dynamic, highly focused professional who consistently exceeded their expectations.

Presented with an opportunity to form a strategic partnership with her mother, Kim McAuliffe, Erika left the advertising industry behind to join Briggs Freeman. Being exposed to many facets of real estate while growing up, whether by her grandmother, founder of a successful residential real estate company in the Memorial area of Houston, or by her grandfather, Hal Anderson, developer and builder of the “Pink Wall”, Mayflower Estates, Preston Tower and The Athena, it was only a natural fit for her to return to her roots.

“For me, a house represents the largest financial investment that my clients will make, but a home is a personal and emotional commitment as well. By combining my market knowledge with my engaging communication style, I strive to build trust and long lasting relationships with my all of my clients.”

On a personal note, Erika is a member of the Junior League of Dallas and is involved with Our Friend’s Place and Our Children’s Home at Baylor. She is a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Erika and her husband Nathan, who is in commercial real estate, reside in the Preston Hollow area.
