Doug Shelton
Doug Shelton grew up in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada amongst a family of home builders and electrical contractors. Before entering the real estate industry, Doug was a professional hockey player for the Chicago and Dallas Blackhawks. During the off season he attended Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Toronto, Canada. As a resident of Dallas, he completed his real estate courses at Southern Methodist University.
Doug is very familiar with the areas in which Briggs-Freeman specializes, but also has an extended market knowledge of north and central Texas relating to recreational and investment property. Throughout Doug’s 36 year real estate career he has concentrated his efforts to understand value and emerging market trends. Those fortunate enough to have him as an agent have gained a loyal friend.
