Proceeds will benefit the outreach and education programs

of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra

 

Join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League as they raffle favorite Symphony, Sip and Savor experiences and look ahead to days filled with music and friends. DSOL celebrates each spring with an elegant fine wine dinner known as Savor the Symphony. Plans were well underway for this spectacular annual event until just recently when the world was gripped by the COVID-19 crisis. Savor the Symphony Raffle is being held in place of a seated dinner and offers an extensive array of items and packages. Event chairs are Angela Fontana and Penny Reid. Mari Epperson is the Raffle Chair and Kim Brannon is the DSOL President. 

Proceeds of the Savor the Symphony Raffle benefit the outreach and education programs of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and raises much-needed funds. Since 1998, the DSOL has contributed more than $20 million in support of the Dallas Symphony Association’s Community Outreach and Education programs DSO on the Go, Community Concerts and Performances, Cecil and Ida Green Youth Concerts, Symphony Yes!, DSO Kids, Young Strings, and Young Musicians.

Raffle items are divided into two tiers. Tier 1 Raffle items include a Bravo! Festival in Vail package and a Gold Stradivarius Membership. Tier 1 tickets are 1 for $500, 3 for $1200, 5 for $2000.

Tier 2 Raffle items are Dallas Symphony Orchestra Gala Tickets, Loge Tickets & Dinner and Sip & Savor and Wine & Dine packages. Tier 2 Tickets are 1 for $100 and 7 for $500.

Underwriting sponsorship levels are available at $15,000, $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, and $1,500. Details of benefits vary according to level and include invitation-only DSO experiences, premium concert tickets, concert hall recognition, and raffle tickets. “In Honor of” donations are also available at $250, $100, and $50.

Raffle tickets, underwriting sponsorships and “In Honor of” donations can be purchased by mail, email or simply purchased online. Payments must be received by May 13 to be included in the raffle drawing. No tickets will be mailed. Blind drawing will take place on May 22, 2020, with 3 witnesses present. Winners will be notified within 24 hours of the drawing and all Raffle items will be mailed, with the exception of the “Sip & Savor” and the “Wine & Dine” packages. These two packages will be delivered to your porch at a mutually agreed upon date.

TIER 1

Trip to the Bravo! Festival in Vail – Value:  $Priceless

4 tickets to an Opening Night at Bravo! Vail, Summer 2020* (Choose to attend the DSO’s opening night, or one of the other 3 resident orchestras: Chamber Orchestra of Europe, The Philadelphia Orchestra or New York Philharmonic); Invitations to pre- and post-concert events on the opening night, Bottle of champagne delivered to seats, Activity in Vail (horseback riding or river rafting), Gift certificate for lunch at a local restaurant. *In the event that Bravo! Gold Stradivarius Membership – Value:  $12,500

Receive the Symphony VIP treatment all year long with a Gold Stradivarius Membership. These memberships are reserved for Symphony donors at the $12,500 level and up. As a Gold Stradivarius member you will receive an invitation for two to the Chairman’s Dinner, an elegant dinner hosted by Dallas Symphony Association Chairman of the Board at a premier venue. You will also receive an invitation for two to the Maestro’s Dinner, a gourmet seated dinner with Maestro Fabio Luisi. Other benefits include invitations to exclusive Open Rehearsals and Receptions, Post-concert receptions with DSO musicians and/or guest artists, Trustee Voting Privileges, and an invitation to the DSO Annual Meeting and Reception.

 

TIER 2
