Council for Life is excited to announce its Celebrating of Life Luncheon on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. The goal of the Luncheon is to raise a record $2 million to fund 32 local life-affirming nonprofits that serve vulnerable mothers facing an unplanned pregnancy and their babies. Since 2001, Council for Life has raised and donated more than $16 million to 80 agencies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area dedicated to helping mothers, fathers and families flourish.
Shawn Carney is Co-Founder and CEO of 40 Days for Life, an international organization that aims to end abortion through prayer, community outreach and constant vigil. He is a best-selling author and international speaker. Shawn was portrayed in the award-winning movie Unplanned depicting his instrumental role in Abby Johnson’s transformation from College Station Planned Parenthood Director to pro-life leader.
Ben Domenech provides commentary on politics, culture and foreign policy as a Fox News Contributor, Editor at Large of The Spectator World, author of The Transom Newsletter on Substack and host of The Big Ben Show Podcast. He co-founded The Federalist and served as its publisher for nearly a decade. Ben has been an outspoken advocate for the worth and dignity of preborn children.
Together, Ben and Shawn will engage in a compelling conversation about loving the preborn, mothers and fathers as we navigate post-Roe abortion law and policy in the U.S. and Texas.

The Luncheon Beneficiaries are the heart of CFL’s mission to empower women, men and youth to make life-affirming choices. These agencies provide compassionate care and vital resources free of charge through Pregnancy Resource Centers, Maternity Homes, Adoption and Foster Care, Post-Abortion Support / Baby Loss Grief, Parenting and Life Skills Education, Life Education and Mentoring, Pregnancy Resource Center and Maternity Support and Targeted Media Outreach.
