Betty Sue Welch is a long-time instructor of Tennis for all ages. For beginners and little ones, she will develop their passion and love for the sport with fun fast paced games and activities. Under her instruction, every child is a winner.

For those wanting the competitive edge, over 16 years as the Highland Park Varsity Boys' and Girls' Tennis Coach and 13 years as Highland Park Middle School Tennis Coach, she easily can bring out the best in your game. Her 30 years at HPISD demonstrates that she is a talented and gifted instructor.

Betty Sue is also the Co-head of Delegation for HPISD Special Olympics Program at Highland Park Independent School District. She has served in some capacity for over 25 years and is the HP Special Olympics Tennis coach (going on 21 years). She has been an integral part of the success and growth of this program.
