Christy Berry, ARB, ALHS, GREEN, vice president with Briggs Freeman Residential Brokerage, holds a Doctorate degree in Family Studies. That education and her experiences allow Christy to understand the emotional and financial challenges in buying and selling a family’s most important asset – their home.
Having remodeled several homes and condominiums near the Park Cities’ campus of Southern Methodist University has given Christy in-depth understanding of home construction. She knows what features are important to buyers and which features sellers should emphasize.
"Christy's intense focus and energy to the needs of my family have been unmatched,” said Elaine Agather, Chairwoman of Texas/JP Morgan Chase. "Her work ethic is top notch, and her commitment to deliver success has exceeded my expectations."
A primary reason for the success Christy brings to her clients is her love of research which she learned while working as a research associate for the Cooper Institute. She mines data from a variety of sources, understanding the value of homes in individual neighborhoods, the strengths and weaknesses of a community, including schools, parks, recreation facilities, shopping venues and traffic patterns.
