About
Located in University Park and serving low-income, uninsured employees of residents and businesses in the Park Cities, the mission of Christ’s Family Clinic is simple: provide high-quality health care to the uninsured in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, regardless of race or religion.

In contrast to other charity clinics, that focus primarily on providing acute care to their patients, the Clinic’s care focuses on comprehensive, preventative care that addresses a wide range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and cardiac issues. In addition, many of these charity clinics were targeted toward patients on Medicaid rather than the “working poor;” those who make too much income to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to afford private health insurance.

Even with the implementation of The Affordable Health Care Act, over 30 million Americans remain uninsured, and 25% of all Texans, over four million people, remain uninsured and lack access to health care. Christ’s Family Clinic does not receive any State, Federal, or United Way funding and relies solely on donations. Your support would help the Clinic sustain the services currently provided to hard-working individuals, keeping them productive members of society, who just do not have the means to be able to afford private health insurance.
