Brothers-in-law Christian Weichsel and Steve Neuhoff knew there was a better to way to manage a home after dealing with Christian’s aging parents who could not maintain their home. The process of managing the home fell to Christian and/or his siblings. This meant taking time to find people who would do the work correctly, who were trustworthy, who wouldn’t gouge them on pricing just because they lived in the Park Cities, and someone that would do what they said they would do. Strangely enough, this wasn’t as easy as it should or could have been.
Weichsel knew there was a better way. He and Steve came up with a more efficient, economical, and stress-free way to take care of one’s home.
Their company Hands On Home Management (HOHM), was started in August of 2016 and offers a way to “Own Your Home, Not Its Problems.” They created a “white-glove” approach to home management by taking care of each client’s home as if it were their own. HOHM is not a handy man service but a “full service” home management company for the person that lives in their home but doesn’t have the time, know how, or desire to take care of the maintenance and “honey dos” involved in home ownership. Maintenance and “honey dos” get taken care of promptly...not six months later.
Members gain access to regularly scheduled property visits once or twice a month depending on the level of membership and more time can be added as needed. HOHM performs the necessary maintenance and repairs along with any “honey dos.” While they perform the majority of the work themselves, for larger projects that HOHM cannot handle “in-house” HOHM brings in approved 3rd party vendors and they manage that process as well. They are able to stay on top of home maintenance and “honey dos” while also giving homeowners a resource for anything home related. Steve and Christian want to be a member’s first call for anything and all things home related so that members can move on with their day knowing that HOHM will take care of the rest.

Frequently performed work includes: carpentry, hanging pictures, power washing, electrical or plumbing repairs, home or garage organizing, gutter cleaning, handling of general “honey dos” and much, much more. They want to handle it all.
Monthly fees start at $150 and go up from there depending on the membership level.
