Amy Burgher
As a former Navy wife, who has lived all over the country and bought and sold numerous homes, Amy Burgher has a unique perspective on the way a well-handled real estate transaction can add to a family’s quality of life. “I know first-hand how important it is to take stress and worry off the shoulders of my clients,” she says. “And I’m an absolute expert in helping families get plugged in to the right people and places in their new community.”
Raised in Houston, Amy attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing. After graduation, she worked as a mortgage banker for Mutual of New York and North American Mortgage where she originated home loans and acquired in-depth understanding of the back end of the real estate business. She has extensive experience in many areas of the home buying and selling process including title work, appraisal and inspection. “I have both professional and personal experience in every step needed to go from contract to closing, and I am well versed in the strategies needed to push a deal forward smoothly.” Amy is known as a creative thinker and adept problem solver.
After moving around the United States, the Burgher family settled down in the Park Cities, and Amy has spent the last 10 years living in the community where she works. Additionally, Amy specializes in the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Greenway Parks and Lakewood neighborhoods.
Her husband Steve, a native of Dallas, is an emergency room physician at Baylor Hospital, and together they have three children and are active members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. In her free time, Amy enjoys playing tennis, entertaining and travelling. She is involved with the Highland Park schools and with the Council for Life.
