Sandra Lopez, Christina Rossini, featured speaker.

The Rustic in Uptown was the perfect setting for the kick-off for the National Kidney Foundation’s Golf Classic, The Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity™ .  There was a cool breeze welcoming guests who joined Golf Classic chair Brandon Rowland; Neil Foote, President of the National Kidney Foundation North Texas; Mark Edwards, Senior Director of Partnerships and Programs and Kristen McCaffery, Development Director for North Texas.

After Brandon welcomed the crowd, Christina Rossini shared her personal experience of donating one of her kidneys saying, “Some of the best business relationships are the ones that evolve into personal friendships. Little did I know when I walked into a meeting that seven months later, I’d be donating a kidney to my client’s daughter-in-law. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been able to enhance Sandra’s quality of life with a new kidney.”

Slated for Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Dallas Athletic Club, the Golf Classic registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with breakfast and lunch and the practice facilities open.
