Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking panel featuring civil rights icon Rev. Peter Johnson, renowned historian and scholar Dr. W. Marvin Dulaney, and trailblazing Dallas leader Levi Davis, the city’s first African American Assistant City Manager. Through personal stories, historical insight, and reflections on progress, these distinguished voices will explore the meaning of Juneteenth, the long road to freedom, and the work that remains to build a more just and inclusive future. This event is a partnership between the Dallas Historical Society and The African American Museum.
Tickets: A separately ticketed “Pour Yourself Into History” happy hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. offers a first look at the Juneteenth document and exhibition, meet-and-greet with the panelists, and a light reception before the panel discussion. Individual tickets are $30.
