Here is an example: I was one of many interviewing for a listing at a substantial property (over $1 million). The homeowner ultimately decided not to sell their home of 20 years. Sadly, six months later the property was completely destroyed in a fire. They called me in a panic. Within 15 minutes, I arrived at their property with rental possibilities, finding them sitting in lawn furniture with insurance adjusters in piles of rubble in the background. I was able to locate a comfortable home and negotiate a short-term lease. It was a very emotional and tragic situation – the loss of 80 years of personal belongings and the necessity of starting completely over.

They used my services because I was the Realtor® that responded to them quickest – some agents never even returned their call. When they were emotionally ready to move forward, we found a wonderful home within blocks of their first home, and they were able to start rebuilding their lives. They were impressed enough with my service that they stayed with me for additional transactions, including listing their original lot, and have gladly referred me to others.
